We cannot agree to obligations of confidentiality, non-use or non-disclosure with regard to any information or materials you share with us through the application for Pitch HearstLab or otherwise. By applying you agree that any such information or materials that you share with us will not be considered confidential or proprietary, and that we are free to use it however we wish. You agree that we will not be restricted from investing in any business or opportunity as a result of receiving any of your information or materials. - Limitation of Damages
We will not, and neither will any of our directors, officers, employees, partners, managers, agents, or content or service providers liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from, or directly or indirectly related to, your application, or you provision of information or materials to us even if we have been specifically advised of the possibility of those damages. - No Guaranty or Obligation
Participating in or winning the Pitch HearstLab competition is not a guarantee that HearstLab will invest in your company or that HearstLab will be obligated provide you with any funds or services. Any investment is at HearstLab’s complete discretion and will be subject to due diligence and your agreement to our terms. Your application to compete in the Pitch HearstLab competition does not create any legal obligation on HearstLab’s part. In addition, HearstLab may change the rules of the competition at any time with or without notice to you.
